The SHS Cantor Search process continues to move forward, and the second audition has been scheduled for the weekend of
March 31-April 2, with Cantor Candidate Rebecca Pohl Apt.
SHS members will have two opportunities to hear Rebecca lead services. The first will be during an evening service in the Sanctuary on Friday night, March 31, at 6:15 PM. Please join us for a Shabbat dinner in the Social Hall following services.
The second opportunity that congregants will have to hear and evaluate Rebecca will be on Saturday, April 1, at 10 AM, during our regularly scheduled Shabbat services (after Torah Study at 9 AM). Attendees are invited to stay for a Kiddush luncheon in the Social Hall following services, after which Rebecca will lead us in song in celebration of Shabbat.
On Sunday morning, April 2, Cantor Apt will meet with the Sunday School students at 9 AM and the Hebrew School students at 11 AM.
The Cantor Search Committee values everyone’s input and would like to receive as much feedback from the congregation about the candidates as possible! Please take the time to fill out the online evaluation that you will receive after each candidate’s audition.
