Capital Campaign
Phase I of Our Capital Campaign is Complete!!

On July 8 we became the proud owners of 430 Spruce Street, the building next door to the synagogue! Please see Mitchell Bach's article in the September Kesher for more details about the long and exciting journey that led to our ultimate ownership of this adjacent property.

Now, it is on to Phase II where the plan is to turn the apartment units at 430 Spruce Street into classroom spaces for our Play, Sunday, and Hebrew Schools, as well as for Adult Education. Offices and a Music Room for our Cantor and Education Director will be created on the third floor.

Phase III of our Campaign will include the renovation of our existing space, with particular emphasis on making the Social Hall more of an adult space that is appropriate for social gatherings, lectures, and receptions. Handicapped-accessible bathrooms, a beautiful new lobby, a library, and new Administrative offices will complete the project.

This is by far the largest Capital Campaign in our synagogue's history, and we have already raised far more money than in any previous campaign. We're off to a great start, but there is more work to be done! Our goal is to have 100% participation from our members.
