Prerequisites: Fall 2025 Torah Leyning Course or equivalent demonstration of leyning skill; intention to participate in group B’nei Mitzvah service on October 24, 2026.

Are you an adult who never celebrated becoming B’nei Mitzvah? If so, are you ready to mark the next stage in your Jewish journey with the support of your Society Hill Synagogue community? In this six-session course, participants will study Jewish text, liturgy, the meaning of becoming B’nei Mitzvah, and applied Jewish practice while building on their Torah leyning skills from the Fall (or equivalent experience). After the semester ends, participants will continue their preparation independently for a group B’nei Mitzvah service and celebration on October 24, 2026 at Society Hill Synagogue!
