Society Hill Synagogue Young Friends (20- and 30-somethings)

The Young Friends of Society Hill Synagogue bring together 20- and 30-somethings — singles and couples — for Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, happy hours, and other gatherings here at the synagogue and throughout Greater Philadelphia. A large number of our congregation’s newer members are in their 20s and 30s, and we’re excited to offer an expanding array of programs for them, with leadership from Young Friends Co-Chairs Louis Polcin and Alexis Rosen.
If you would like to learn more and get to know fellow 20- and 30-somethings in a fun, welcoming ambiance, please contact Louis and Alexis at youngfriends(at)societyhillsynagogue.org. We look forward to meeting you!

Young Friends Table: Friday Evening

🗓️ Friday, March 27
🕒 Service beginning at 6:00 am, followed by Oneg dinner
📍 Society Hill Synagogue
💰 Free
Society Hill Synagogue holds regular Shabbat services on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, offering a chance to slow down and connect as a community. Once a month, our Young Friends group hosts a dedicated Young Friends table (or tables — the more the merrier!) at Oneg dinner or Kiddush lunch following these services.
Whether you’re a regular at services or joining us for the first time, you’re invited to sit with us during the prayer service and then join us downstairs in the Social Hall for a delicious meal. This monthly gathering is a simple but meaningful way to build community, unwind, and find connection both spiritually and socially, right here at Society Hill Synagogue.
