This summer, Society Hill Synagogue members are opening their homes on three Friday evenings — June 12, July 10, and August 14 — to welcome fellow congregants for Shabbat dinner and deepen connections.
Host homes span Philadelphia neighborhoods including Society Hill, Fishtown, Queen Village, and Center City, with a handful of options in Cherry Hill and homes down the shore in Margate and Ventnor, for those spending the summer at the beach. Dinners range from intimate gatherings of five to lively dining for 15 or more!
Some hosts are preparing full meals; others are potluck-style. All of them want to share a Shabbat table with you!
We’re asking guests to sign up for one dinner to start — if spots remain after the initial round, we’ll open things up for second signups.
Please use the link below to browse host listings and find the right fit for you, and then register at the link in the document. Spots are limited and will fill on a first-come, first-served basis.
